New Bar Planned for Lindsay Heights

Wright Street and N. 14th Street in the Lindsay Heights neighborhood, a building built nearly 120 years ago may soon become home to a new bar and restaurant. April Juett has submitted a liquor license application to open Lady Jean s Bar Grill in the building, addressed as 1374 W. Wright St. In addition to serving alcoholic drinks and food, the application signals Juett plans for bands, pool tables, DJs, karaoke, poetry readings, amusement machines and hookah service to provide entertainment in the space. For food items, she listed pizza and polishes, an apparent reference to Polish sausages. Juett listed adding a kitchen to the bar as planned construction for the space. According to city assessment records, Juett purchased the property for $60,000 in 2025 from Kew Properties LLC, which lists Eze Nwatuobi as its registered agent.
